Mission accomplished! Thanks to everyone who helped Little Mr. Sunshine along its way, and fixed it when broken. Little Mr. Sunshine has now traveled for seven years, completed three different missions, and has almost completely fallen apart. His final mission is return to his home cache “Huber Tuber” (GC14E18) in California.
My four-year-old son Miles made this while on vacation in Minnesota in August 2007. We wanted Little Mr. Sunshine to make its way back home to the Oakland/Berkeley hills and be deposited in geocache GC13623, "Jewel of the Nile" (our "home" cache). We were wondering how old Miles would be by the time it arrived home. Amazingly, Little Mr. Sunshine made it from the deep woods of Minnesota to Jewel of the Nile in the Bay Area, CA in less than three months, making only four hops total. Is this a record? Fly on, little wing!
