When returning to America it is common for the boarder guard to ask where you live and then ask a question that only a local would know. A couple of months ago I was driving from Vancouver to Seattle. When asked I said I was from Wisconsin, and I was asked how the Hodag hunting season was this year. At that point I had no idea what a Hodag was, but my confusion seemed so genuine that he allowed me to pass.
Now that I know its only fair I give Henrietta Hodag a ride on my business trip to the east a little later in the month.
