My mission is to know the New Europe: my idea is to visit all 27 EU states, and have at least a photo of each state.
Vorrei conoscere la Nuova Europa: la mia idea sarebbe quella di passare attraverso tutti e 27 gli stati, e di riuscire ad avere almeno una foto di ogni posto visitato.
I was bought by a vendor from Morocco few years ago. He said that my owner had to put a 1000 liras banknote, rounded as a cylinder, in the hole made by my trunk, in order to gain fortune and money. Instead, I was put in a box, and I waited for some years before to obtain a more important task. So, one day, my owner put a small aluminium plate around my trunk, and he said that I have to help it, with my fortune, to travel all over the Europe. "Well - I said - this will be my next task!!"
Sono stato comprato da un venditore ambulante del Marocco alcuni anni fa. Costui disse che il mio padrone avrebbe dovuto mettere mille lire arrotolate nell'apertura formata con la mia proboscide, per avere fortuna e denaro. Invece finii in una scatola, dove aspettai per alcuni anni di avere un importante incarico. Così, un giorno, il mio proprietario mi mise una piastrina metallica intorno alla proboscide, e mi disse che avrei dovuto aiutarla, con la mia fortuna, ad attraversare l'Europa. "Bene", mi dissi, "questo sarà il mio prossimo compito!!"
