Deze travelbug deed mee aan een race met als thema: "Europese Unie". Hij was georganiseerd in het kader van de toetreding van 10 landen tot de EU op 1 mei 2004.
Het doel was om voor 15 juni 2005 caches in zoveel mogelijk lidstaten van de EU aan te doen. De race is voorbij en Red Light heeft helaas niet gewonnen. Bezoek voor meer informatie www.geocaching.nl/bugrace.

This travelbug was a participant in a race with theme: "European Union". It was organised in honor of the fact that on the first of May 2004 10 new countries have joined the EU.
The goal was to visit caches in as much as possible EU countries before 15th of June 2005. The race is over and Red Light didn't win. Visit for more information www.geocaching.nl/bugrace.

Red Light is z'n race begonnen in Amsterdam, bekend en beroemd om z'n Red Light District. Ik hoop dat ie nog flink wat EU-landen aan zal doen, ook al is de race voorbij

Red Light started his race in Amsterdam, famous for it's Red Light Districht. I hope he wil visit many EU-countries, even though the race is over.

I have been unable to place this bug in other caches as they were too small/too full, so I visited a cache big enough to take this bug! I hope it continues well on its journey now it has a new bug attached. Have added photo for you to cut and paste 😁

I have decided to keep with the 'Red' theme and have replaced the torch with a fire engine, a suggestion from my 6 year old son no less!
I am going to re-release this TB soon in an interesting and historical place so the owners can perhaps incorporate that into its new, post TB race theme 😁

Being part Dutch I went out especially to retrieve this TB. I'm sorry to say some thieving Geocacher [and it is a cacher, a muggle would take the tag too] has taken the light, so all that I found when I got to the cache was the tag on its own 😡
Please can the owner e-mail [Dutch e-mail welcome if English is not easy] me to let me know if they want it to with it now.
