Thank you for sharing this. One day I would like to visit the museum itself.
Thinking back on the vile actions of the Nazi during WWII and the world's reaction to them, you would think the world had learned a lesson from that horror. However having seen what the human creature is capable of and seeing how even today we as a nation, both the people and policy makers, become squeamish about stopping those that would commit these atrocities again today, I wonder if we haven't forgotten too much already. When we refuse to step out of our comfort zone in order to help those that are oppressed, we are in fact aiding their oppressors.

May we never forget, may we always be ready, and may we always act swiftly to stop the oppressor and free the oppressed.

I will log this into another local event and then move it on shortly there after if it is not retrieved from the event.

Have visited the Museum and it was a deeply moving experience. All those shoes. I will never forget the sight and smell of all those shoes.
