    Really enjoyed this area just a shame we had to drive up and down due to being in a caravan, and not having camping equipment suited to the night time temps here, being for fnqld ourselves. The drive up is certainly quite enjoyable if not a little white knuckle in some places. Hoping the subsidence doesn’t get the best of the road here like so many places around facing the extreme weather!

    We made this harder than it needed to be as our compass pointed us in the wrong direction to start but a good time was had exploring there’s a little creek running after recent rains and a pleasant area to visit.

    Ilford. This was challenging. Not to find or anything but to actually be outside in what feels like subzero temps to make this find! Pretty sure that’s the coldest temp ive ever felt. Feeling better about the decision we made this morning to head back to QLD for the winter 😝
