Current Goal

Abraham longs to travel all over the world. He loves to be fotographed with people who are 50 or with objects showing the number 50 (e.g. on roadsigns). So please grant his wish and upload a nice picture!

Meanwhile, 12 years later, we still long to travel all over the world!!!!!!!  The Abraham was given as a gift to my husband at his 50th birthday.   He died at the age of 59. For me as his widow it's nice to see Abraham still travelling. Please  let Abraham see a little bit more of this beautiful world!

In the Netherlands it is customary to put a big Abraham doll on the doorstep of people who turn fifty years old. They also receive a big brown spiced biscuit shaped in the form of an Abraham doll. Just to remind them (better: rub it in!) that from that day onwards, they belong to the older (and hopefully wiser) generation!

Abraham made his way to Rhenanie-Palatia (Rheinland-Pfalz) and visited the 50th degree northern latitude. He met two people of 50 as well, who were pleased to be part of the wise generation... :O

Found this Abraham, while the place was crowded with muggles - a group of hikers all beyond 50 - all Abrahams. 😁 We grabbed the bug, when they were gone.
