Taking Harriet to the centre of the North Island, passing through some sheep farm county. Here's a couple of photos we took near Ohura in the King Country region, hilly and suitable for sheep farming. Don't think Harriet would enjoy plodding around the hilly farms!

  • Sheep being moved along the road........ this is a common Kiwi countryside scene, herding sheep from one place to another along the country roads.
  • Shorn sheep in a paddock. Just after shearing, hundreds of sheep penned in a farm paddock...is this enough sheep for you?
