This bug is leaving the station from the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel in Cranbrook, B. C. Move about the country and register any rail activity nearby, museums to visit or train trivia. It would be great if Argyle revisited us on the first anniverary of the Museum's Grand opening Sept 3 2005. This is also the centennial of its home town.
The "argyle" bug is a coductor's lamp that was used on the trains of the day. The Argyle train car itself was one of the carriages on a train used on exclusive train travel across Canada in 1929. This train was called the Trans Canada Limited.
