Dmitri Shostakovich was born in St. Petersburg,in 1906. He would like to travel from Newcastle-under-Lyme, England, back to St. Petersburg.

About This Item

Amongst his many compositions, our favourites are his Jazz Suites. The prominent use of the saxophone meant we had to have one to accompany him on his journey.
