Since my two children ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคญ were little and I ๐Ÿ˜Ž was an At-Home Mom, homeschooling before "homeschool" became a verb, I ๐Ÿ˜Ž always wanted to arrange a field trip for them ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคญ here to the Chassahowitzka http://www.fws.gov/chassahowitzka/ . You see, my son's nickname is Chas ๐Ÿ˜ and his imagination is as strong as mine, so it was easy to lead him ๐Ÿ˜ to believe it was named after you-know-who... Just like the chasmosaurus ๐Ÿ˜ˆ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chasmosaurus was, you knowโ”

However, the daughter unit's name, Kaleena ๐Ÿคญ, has not lend itself to having real places and real things named after her. I ๐Ÿ˜Ž managed to fake the dinosaur naming by calling one of the less common colorations of the iguanodon ๐Ÿ˜› a kaleenadon, but I ๐Ÿ˜Ž never figured out how to twist a river into being named after her... So we ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคญ ๐Ÿ˜Ž just never made it here to the Chassahowitzaka for fear of having to match the feat with a river named after her.

Many years, many field trips, many adventures later, our son Chas ๐Ÿ˜ AKA ChuckSAR (Chuck Search-and-Rescue) is moving out of FL for the first time to accept a graduate teaching assistant position at UNC-Charlotte... and it's the daughter unit, Kaleena ๐Ÿคญ AKA CSI Crue (Cache Scene Investigator Crue to you!), who arranged the kayaking trip for our whole family of four -๐Ÿ‘- Team Burgi ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคญ ๐Ÿ˜Ž in full force! Suffice to say a wonderful time was had by all, and perhaps we'll ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคญ ๐Ÿ˜Ž be able to post a couple of pics to prove it.

Dipped A Fire Dog's Wish TB here, rescued the Bugs, Bugs, Bugs GeoCoin, and will be taking both on our field trip to Charlotte. Have MANY blessed new adventures, Chas ๐Ÿ˜, and we ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿคญ ๐Ÿ˜Ž will, too! Happy caching ~~

Burgi Dad and I ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜Ž spent a very pleasant (but HOT) couple of hours here in Ft. Desoto, maintaining the cache and finding a couple of others. We ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜Ž weren't the only ones to seek this beautiful (but HOT) park on Memorial Day weekend. Of course, this probably happens all the time -๐Ÿ‘- the traffic backup coming in, while long and tedious, was mostly made up of patient (but HOT) drivers and their (equally HOT) passengers ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜š ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜ด ๐Ÿ‘Ž just waiting for their chance in the sun. So glad we ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ˜Ž were able to join them ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ˜š ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜ด ๐Ÿ‘Ž and get this commemorative cache back up and running again.

Left some TBs and GeoCoins, took some pics, avoided all the poison ivy (not that much; just be careful), hid it better than we found it, and it's back in business! Also found A Fire Dog's Wish TB, which was not registered in the cache. Hey, does anyone know why firefighters ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ˜‰ have dalmatians ๐Ÿ˜› in their fire trucksโ”... Don't be shy ๐Ÿ˜Œ, go ahead and make a mental guess! Readyโ” That's how they ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ˜‰ guarantee the fire hydrant will be found!

Have a blessed June! Happy caching ~~
