I created this geocoin to celebrate my 10 years of geocaching in 2022. I found my first geocache in Panama on February 23, 2012! The front of the coin has my geo-name on it – Desafio, which is Spanish and Portuguese for challenge as well as a favourite quote from Helen Keller. The back of the coin depicts my favourite caching transportation – my red boat, as I love to paddle. It also shows the waters, rocks, shoreline and trees of my home province of Ontario, Canada. My favourite saying when out caching with a group – “keep your eyes on the prize” is also on the back. I hope you enjoy welcoming my coin to your collection!
