Current Goal

The Angel is quite small and easy to cache, so I am hoping it will travel quickly and travel far and wide. Please move it on as soon as possible and take photos where possible. It would be nice to see where the Angel gets to. Any pics taken with angels would be nice.

About This Item

The Angel

The replacement Angel is a small token with an Angel on one side and the word peace on the other.

The Angel is a reproduction of and Elizabethan gold Angel. Angel - An English gold coin first issued in 1465 with a value of 6 shillings and 8 pence. St Michael spearing a dragon is on the obverse and a ship on the reverse. This denomination was struck under every monarch until the reign of Charles I. (BTW, mine is not real gold so it's not worth nicking!)
