Current Goal

This is a non-circulating geocoin whose sole mission is to be discovered by folks who have found my Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) in a geocache.  

IF YOU HAVE FOUND ONE OF THESE ARTIST TRADING CARDS (ATCs) IN A CACHE, IT IS YOURS TO DISCOVER AND KEEP.  DO WITH IT WHAT YOU PLEASE.

This is a geocoin in the shape of the United States showing the Route 66 route.

I roadtripped Route 66 (mostly) on my own in the early 2000's.  It was one of the best road trips I've done.

    Well, this is different! I found this Artist Trading Card, No. 8 of 10 in the Travel Mixed Media series. I archived one of my caches and found this with the swag. My cache was in Pundt Park in Spring Texas, GCA15D8. Some how it made its way here from Wimberly Texas. It's a really cute idea. I'll be hosting a Community Celebration Event in the park next weekend and have 5 new caches there to be published.
    The picture is of a Bald Cypress tree that's in the park. This bad boy measures about 15 feet across at it's base. These trees can live as long as 800 years.

    I picked this up in the Clear Lake Refuge TB Lodge GC2TJMP in Modoc County. The cache was in bad shape so we replaced it and retrieved this little treasure. We'll be leaving it somewhere else soon.
