Current Goal

The goal of this Boomerang TB WAS to reach France, host country of the 2004 World Boomerang Championships and then return, like a boomerang, to Peoria, Illinois, USA.

It has accomplished this epic adventure thanks to you, awesome geocachers.

About This Item

Boomerang Bug1

This small boomerang arrived in France, briefly and amazingly, in the same month as the World Boomerang Championships thereby accomplishing its primary goal. Charleville-Mézières, FRANCE hosted the World Boomerang Championships July 12-21, 2004.

It has since, 6 years later, arrived in Peoria, IL and been caught by the thrower.

Many happy returns to all who helped this travel bug on it's flight. Catch the magic! Throw boomerangs!

De in de Star Sprinkler TravelBugcache aanwezige Coin had dusdanig veel aantrekkingskracht dat we er toch maar eens moesten gaan kijken. Ook konden we 1 van de vier duiven niet plaatsen in onze run van zondag. De duif is meegekomen naar de Star Sprinkler Travelbug cache, voor een welverdiende rustplaats. De hunt liepo eigenlijk een beetje in het honderd, dit omdat er ook nog naar Utrecht gegaan zou moeten worden. Geen beschrijving, alleen het koude coordinaat. een belletje naar een Dusty gaf al gauw meer duidelijkheid. de cache is op een bijzondere en nette manier verstopt. Allerd (Dutch Locutus) kan zijn standaard-uitspraak 'Dusty-Cache' wel weer intrekken. Alle Travels een keertje vastgehad, zal ze allemaal ook even loggen. Daarna 5 uitgenomen en 5 anderen weer teruggeplaatst.
