To travel the world sending joy to others, to have its picture taken at the memorial site on the campus of Virginia Tech, and to visit the "STACK" cache (GC18N57) placed in honor of our good friend, Ryan Clark.
Camp Big Heart is a 2-week residential summer camp designed to meet the needs of people with mild to moderate mental and physical disabilities. It is located in the Will-A-Way section of Fort Yargo State Park in Winder, GA. I began working there as a volunteer in 1996 and am
currently one of the Assistant Directors. Camp Big Heart holds a very special place in my heart because it is where I met my husband as well as many life-long friends. This travel bug is in honor of Camp Big Heart and
one of our very special Camp Big Heart friend, Ryan Clark, who lost his life trying to help another student in the massacre at Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007. Camp Big Heart was his favorite place to be and he always made such an impact on the lives of everyone he met. It is my hope that
his memory lives on and that others will continue to be touched by his story. Those of us will never forget Ryan Clark or the memories that we share with him.
