I want these to make their way around the world, as I have. Please share their stories, and your own (if you can) of the time you spent together.
These are coins minted to commemorate the first National Guard rotation through the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana. For many soldiers, this was the turning point for the Guard, going from a Strategic Reserve in a peacetime environment to becoming an Operational Arm of the U.S. military 24/7/365 in multiple combat theaters. Many of us have now been in ALL of those theaters, multiple times. These coins are hand-stamped with my alias and a number. As cool as you might think they are, please keep them moving! Spookdawg13
