About This Item

My name is Monty the cannine friend of Henry Blogg Henry received a Silver Medal from the RNLI in 1932 for rescuing 30 men and a dog from the steamer Monte Nevoso aground on the Haisborough Sands. The Canine Defence League awarded him their own Silver Medal. Please help me to find my old friend Henry Blogg who is out there somewhere in a cache.

Without knowing that the quest was over I moved Monty from Victorian Weightlifter to Quiet Rest. Quiet Rest sits near to Cemaes Bay. Although there is no longer a lifeboat station here (the nearest are Holyhead and Moelfre) there used to be. There is also a historic lifeboat here - Charles Henry Ashley - have a look at the website - http://www.cemaesclassiclifeboat.co.uk/.
