Current Goal

"Pay it Forward" refers to repaying for the good deeds one has received by doing good things for others. In this way the need to help one another can spread exponentially with the goal of making the world a better place.

The main mission of Phoenixdxb's Pay it Forward Travel Bug is to collect funds for whatever charity you designate, including yourself. If the Bug is light, make a little donation... or maybe you're light and need to make a little withdrawal ;) I'd love to see it get heavy though. Make it lighter again by making someone's day! Fill up someone's parking meter or "pay it forward" to a homeless person; perhaps a musician trying to make end's meet by playing a tune on the sidewalk. Try it - it feels good to do good!

Phoenixdxb's "Pay it Forward" is a small silver handbag with a Travel Bug and -note attached. Please try not to donate all the money in the bag at once; it should never run on empty.

The currency type or amount that you donate does not matter. In the end it's the good deed that's most important.

The "Pay it Forward" TB Handbag starts it's journey with the following donations: 5 United Arab Emirate Dirhams, 5 United States Dollars, 5 British Pounds and 5 Euro's.

It would be great if you could share your good deeds with us as the TB moves along to spread the goodness. Pictures are always welcomed.

First time I have seen a travel bug with a glow in the dark edge guard! There are 9 bills, all the originals...all fives except 1 dinar. Loved the purse. Thought we would add coins for parking meters, though in Singapore we don't have those. Loved the "interactive" cache.

I think it's an awesome idea we'll drop in some money I also can't believe that it has Egyptian money in it.My 5 year old sister (who just loves little purses) so badly wanted it but I told her she can't have it, and then she asked why I had it I, told her because travel bugs are supposed to go around the world not stay at home.

Hi B, It has now hit a cachelocation in Holland but I did not dare to leave the purse behind knowing what the Dutch are like 😁. It will be moving to the Far East shortly and I will drop it there if I find a cache big enough to hold it.
