About This Item

"Remote Control B" is one of two TBs that work as a set--by remote control! Glued to the back of this TB are halves of two different dog tags. The left side (the one with the picture of the bug on it) contains the first three digits of the number for THIS bug. The other half holds the last 3 digits of the number for the OTHER bug, "Remote Control A," which is set up similarly (although obviously, it has the opposite halves of the same two dog tags). Your task is to find out who has the other TB or discover which cache it's in and get someone to grab it. You can use www.geocaching.com's features to do this. Then exchange numbers with that person via email (i.e., by "remote control"). NOTE: only share the right-hand set of numbers (the half of the tag with the words "The travel Bug" on it). DO NOT send anyone the left-hand set, which goes to the TB in your possession. This prevents anyone from logging both bugs while only finding one of them.

Picked up Remote Control B minutes after lostguy51 dropped it off - I saw him leave. QDman was there a few minutes later, so he cued me in on what has to be done to log it. I'm now waiting for someone to pick up A and contact me. It may be a long wait as A is now in a difficulty 4 multi-cache.

Grabbed from Almost on Top a week or so ago. I couldn't get the #'s from the person who has Remote Control A so I got them from the last guy to have R. C. B. At least I have it logged now and I can get rid of it. Had there been info on the tag as to what was involved to get it logged then I would never have picked it up. The only reason I didn't put it back where I found it was I didn't feel like climbing that hill again for no reason.

Grabbed it but without the numbers I can't log it yet. Am trying to get the other half of the numbers now.

I still have the bug I picked up on the 1st and will hold it another week or so. Fortunatly I was able to get the numbers from the last guy out here as A is in a cache waiting to be picked up.
