Pedro is a Javelina (ha-va-lee'-na) from New Mexico - the only wild, native, pig-like animal in the US. They roam freely in the desert SW and are the object of many sportsmen (like Toady!). They have a gland on their back which secretes a strong, musky, oily substance! Their ears are small & round & they have beady little eyes, short legs & tiny feet. Our granddaughter calls them "Naughty Pigs".
Pedro's mission is to introduce himself to other critters of the world (especially his pig cousins). take him....please! But, don't even think of cooking him - he is not tasty!
