Aside from visiting caches this medal will occasionally be spotted at various events but will remain in my growing collection of medals and trackable tags.
Purchased at the Lennox & Addington Mega event to celebrate my 5000th find on May 13, 2023. I had looked for a similar medal over the past few months at two other large events and like the fact that it came with a trackable tag as well.
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine reaching this milestone in such a short time. Despite admiting to being obsessed with caching, it's still a hobby/pastime for me not a career or competition.
A huge thank you to all those who helped and encouraged me along the way and for those that placed caches and organized events without whom none of this would have been possible.
