Current Goal

The mission for Blazedstr, HunterParents and TNgeopals is quite simple.  All three will start at the same point and eventually end up going their separate ways.  The race will start on September 22, 2022 and end on September 21, 2023.  Each car wants to get dipped into as many caches as possible.  Also, each car wants to accumulate the most miles traveled.   That should be fairly easy for cachers to help us by at least dipping our tires in a cache to give us a visit.  Please do not leave us in a remote cache that gets very few visits.  But a nice 5* TB Hotel would be nice for a quick change of scenery on occasion.  And of course, pictures are always welcomed.  The car with the most caches and miles will be crowned the victor!

RACERS!  Start your engines!  READY! SET! GO!

As someone once said “No one is perfect, but if you drive a Jeep, you are pretty close”!

The other Racers are:

About This Item

There is really only one way to Geocache in style and that’s driving the Icon of the century-The Jeep. Not just any Jeep but one named The Pink Gypsy Lady. TNgeopals accidentally said in her transportation story the Forester is classier than my Jeep-this made me laugh out loud! HunterParents Jeep is way cooler than a Forester or Prius. The world knew what it was doing when The Birth of an Icon was Born. Willys-Overland delivered the prototype "Quad" (named for the 4x4 system it featured), to the U.S. Army on Armistice Day (Veteran's Day), November of 1940. The design was completed in a remarkable 75 days. Who wants lukewarm classy (Forester or Prius) when you have a SMOKEN HOT JEEP to cruise around in. I do believe the caches smile BIGGER when they see The Pink Gypsy Lady pull up to locate them.
