(NFBR) Compass Carabiner

The bug's goal was to win the travel bug race at http://www.elisabeths.net/norske_fylker.htm by visiting all Norwegian counties ("fylker") as fast as possible. It failed, now it's time to go home to Vesterålen.

Denne bugen deltok i det norske fylkes-bug-racet som startet 10. november 2004. Formålet med racet var at bugen skulle overnatte i cacher i alle Norges 19 fylker på kortest mulig tid. Du kan lese mer om racet og reglene for dette på http://www.elisabeths.net/norske_fylker.htm.

Når du legger bugen i en cache i et nytt fylke, vennligst marker dette ved å klippe bort dette fylket fra kanten av kortet som er festet til bugen.

Unngå å legge bugen i cacher med få besøkende, og ikke ta den med til utlandet!

Bugen var tidligere en karabinkrok med innebygget kompass, men på grunn av et uhell i Sør-Trøndelag (cache-muggling) er karabinkorken nå erstattet av et blysøkke...

This bug was participating in the Norwegian county bug race that started 10th November 2004. The bug race goal was to stay over the night in caches in all Norwegian counties (fylker) in the shortest time possible. When you leave the bug in a cache in a new county, please indicate this by removing this county from the card that is attached to the bug.

Avoid leaving the bug in unpopular caches, and do not take this bug abroad!

Originally, this bug was a carabiner with a built-in compass. Due to cache-muggling in Sør-Trøndelag, the carabiner has been replaced by a lead sinker...
