Sorry for the delay in logging this. It's our first one so we waited until the last finder logged that they had left Max, before we logged that we found him. Anyway, we waited too long may have caused a bit of concern.
Max is safe and seems happy chez emptynest. Bodie is keeping a close eye on him and teaching him the ropes about cohabitation with birds. We have a cockatiel named Buster and Max seems to want to retreive him. We also have wild birds on our property: quail, bluejays, finches, buzzards, robins, and turkeys.
Max seemed relieved to be rescued from Travelers Choice. He's a tough doggie, but that is a scary place. We'll take good care of him until it's time to move on. We're going to see if he can start to head east soon.
