This was my first find of the day. The GPS was a bit off and I had to take a hint from a previous picture to find this cache.

I had 2 hours to myself in Milton, and I decided to make a mad dash for the Summer Solistice Souvenir. So I made a list of caches I haven't found yet in and around Milton and tackled them today.

I remember trying to attempt this one a couple years ago. But an elderly couple was watching ducks right by GZ. They wouldn't move, and I was pretending to enjoy the ducks too. Anytime I would wander near the water, they would warn me to be careful. I had to give up on this one. I found all the other caches in the area and didn't have an opportunity to return... until today. There was an event nearby and I was out nice and early to find this cache and others in the area.

Today there were no old people and no ducks, and the trails were deserted, so I got straight to business. The GPA led me close to the creek and I couldn't find the cache there. Read a few logs and expanded my search and soon had the cache in hand.

I came here early this morning before an event in the neighborhood. I DNF'd this cache a while ago, but I am happy to report that I was able to turn this frown upside down today. Relatively few muggles here, so I was able to spend some quality time at GZ and finally figure this one out.

And what a great cache this one was! Really good use of the real estate and container.

,Top of the morning find. Thank you to the CO for these new caches which have been helpful with this month's souvenir challenge.

Like previous finders, I had trouble with GPS here. Also didn't help that tree there's no Satellite view in this new neighborhood. I did what any self-respecting geocacher would do and check all the prickly trees, but came up empty. Then I looked at the FTF's picture and spotted a vital clue. This helped me narrow my search down to 2 trees, and soon I had the shiny cache in hand. My phone said I was 10m away from the coordinates.

In the process of finding this one I got poked many times by different trees and by mosquitoes too. I promptly went to the nearest coffee shop to replace any lost fluids.

I met the CO yesterday at an event and was telling him how I figured out many of these Find-a-cache mysteries recently. I attempted one last week, but DNFd it. Today was a lazy Sunday, and a good chance to look for another one. I convinced my family to get out of the house by promising them a beautiful garden with ducks and frogs and got them out of the house. Little did they know of my vested interest in the trip.

When the opportunity presented itself, I made a quick detour and found the cache quickly. The hint in the checker was handy and kept me on time. My kids were impressed by the cache container.
