Current Goal

I am in a race to travel, by non-competing geocachers, to and be logged into Travel Bug Coffee Break (GCGVTP) in Silicon Valley before returning any cache within the I-275 loop in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I've been to California, now I'm trying to get back to Cincinnati! Help me along!

Well, the Louisville meeting got moved to Nashville, so I drove "Motor" as far north as I could get him and dropped him in a north bound rest stop. Somebody will have to make a U-turn across the Interstate, or take him closer to OH; I'm hoping for the latter.

I scooped up Motor because I had a meeting scheduled in Dayton the next day. Got back that evening to find it had been cancelled. I just tried to drop Motor into a cache next to I95 in MD to get him moving back to OH, but the site had been muggled in the past and was disturbed when I visited, so I lost confidence that he would be safe. Think now I'll keep him until I'm in Louisville next month. Maybe I can get Motor all the way to the goal line. The poor fellow is grinding out 2000mi to get back to where I got him.

Looks like the non-competition is over; the referenced website is down. MOTOR has his 'official java junkie card' with him, but did not get it punched at Caffe Adria. Still, I'll try to move him a bit closer to Cinncy.

I was up vivsting family from Chicago--decided to do a geocache with my them. Found Motor and saw that it needed to get closer to Cincinnati. Just so happens I was heading to Mansfield OH to train a dealer on bathroom installs. Strange how things work out. So I will be finding a cache in that area to get Motor closer to its destiniation!!

Grabbed this from mfc61 just before getting on an airplane in San Jose, CA. Flew to Dallas, TX and then on to Grand Rapids, MI. Currently in Traverse City MI. Will probably drop and take from a cache up here before heading back to Grand Rapids where I will drop and leave this bug.
