Found this in Ft. Leaton at cache find number 3 for the day! We started out at 9:30 to drive the River Road from Marfa, down to Presidio, along the southern edge of Big Bend Ranch State Park, to Lajitas, Terlingua, up to Alpine and back to Marfa. What a drive!!! National Geographic calls it one of the ten best drives in America and that is not an overstatement. We'd been told it was a four hour drive, but we completed it in a little less than eight. I challenge you to take the time - you will not regret it. Take lots of water.
