All new geocaches are reviewed by a volunteer reviewer before they become available for geocachers to search for them. Ignotus Peverell is the volunteer reviewer for Colorado and New Mexico, and he was kind enough to give us two of the 2022 reviewer trackables. We are keeping one in our trackable collection so it doesn’t go missing, and are releasing this second one to send out into the geo-world for cachers to discover or retrieve and move to another cache.
From the Harry Potter Wiki: Ignotus Peverell (12 July, 1214–19 May, 1292) was an English pure-blood wizard, one of the three brothers mentioned in The Tale of the Three Brothers in The Tales of Beedle the Bard. The youngest of the three brothers, Ignotus was also described as the humblest and wisest of them. He had survived Death's cunning schemes due to these traits. He received the last of the Deathly Hallows, the Cloak of Invisibility, which was passed down through his family to the Potter family, and eventually to Harry Potter.
