Current Goal

Hey, I am a camping bear, and I would like to visit many different camping places, including day camps and places where kids gather for fun activities. I began my journey at a camp in Columbia, TN, on July 8, 2004. Take a photo of me at places I visit on my travels or send me the waypoints of new and fun places for youth.

Update:  A new travel "bear" - Routt-Robertson 4-H Bear - was hid in Colorado in July, 2010.  It's mission is to hook up with "Beary Happy Camper."  Both bears are 4-H bears started by Tennessee 4-H groups.

About This Item

Starting this travel bug is a project of 4-H Computer Tech Campers. Each of us will be watching Beary Happy travel to camps around the country. During the camp we have learned about GPS/GIS.
