About This Item

Mickey has been on the job for 75 years, ever since starring in the May 15, 1928 "Plane Crazy." Of course, Minnie was in this one, too. The second cartoon with Mickey was "The Gallopin' Gaucho." The third is perhaps more famous, "Steamboat Willie" came out on November 18, 1928.

    Grabbed it in "Lost Milkbone" in Arlington, Texas. I had no idea this was so long lost. Sadly Mickey is no longer attached... a kid probably took it and left the tag somewhere. Hard to believe this hasn't been logged in 7 years. Maybe I'll try to get a new Mickey to attach before letting this go.
