Current Goal

Y-Too-Late missed his big chance and now wants to travel. He would like to visit all the US coastal states and explore lighthouses and historical places along the way, finally returning to Boise, Idaho. If possible, please post a picture of his travels so Y-Too-Late can always remember the adventures he's had.

sorry for keeping him so long, we are planning a trip to NYC next weekend and I wanted him to see some of the sights there before I planted him again, I will take pictures of his adventures and then, I will try to figure out how to post them!

found Y-Too-Late near Point Judith RI now I have a mission to find another location hopefully near a light house. Deffinately near an historical landmark

Brought Y-Too-Late (along with Sebastian and Pixey Green) out to see a couple of Rhode Island lighthouses. Started with Point Judith Light. From there, I meant to go to Beavertail Light, but missed a turn and stumbled upon Fort Weatherill State Park. The fort itself has certainly seen better (or at least less graffiti-filled) days, but was very cool to explore. Took a group TB picture by one of the former gun emplacements. A friendly park staffer got me back on track for Beavertail Light. Beavertail Light was the third lighthouse built in the U.S., so I figured this TB would love it both for being a lighthouse and for its historical significance. This is originally where I'd hoped to drop Y-Too-Late off, but there was no way he was going to fit into the container. But I'd done another cache quite close to Point Judith Light that I knew was nice and roomy, so I swung back over there to drop off Y-Too-Late.

  • Size *does* matter Sebastian and Y-Too-Late contemplate the Beavertail Light cache. Somehow I just didn't think Y-Too-Late was going to squeeze inside this one. :-)
  • Room with a view Back at Point Judith Light, near the Two If By Sea cache. This is what Y-Too-Late will see from his current home.

Picked this cuddly little bug up from the Putnam Brook Cache. I've got a caching trip to southern Rhode Island planned for next weekend, and there's at least two lighthouse caches nearby -- I think this little TB will have some fun. 😁

Y-Too-Late visited the Marblehead Light in Marblehead Massachusetts. The lighthouse was built in 1896 and has a spiral staircase in the center. You can read more about it at http://www.lighthouse.cc/marblehead/history.html. I tried to get Y-Too-Late into a new cache today but he was too fat to fit in the cache container.
