Over the course of 2007, we will distribute eight Germany 2007 Series 2 Geocoins outside Germany. Their mission: to travel the world, spreading Gemütlichkeit near and far.
This is not one of those coins.
This coin doesn't care where he goes. He could go to Timbuktu, he could stay right here in Hessen and play video games all its life. Whatever.
His parents never thought much of him and always paid more attention to his eight older brothers, all of whom are more outgoing, did better in school, made friends, and applied themselves.
But deep down, this German geocoin has something special. He's got spirit. He's got spark. He's got spunk. And someday, somehow, he's going to prove himself to Mom, Dad, and his brothers, maybe by traveling further and faster than they all do put together, and there will be a happy, John Hughes ending.
If you spot this geocoin, please take him with you, give him a pat on the back, and buy it a beer or two before placing it in its next cache.
