"Kind of scientists and big nature enthusiasts;

caretakers of ants, butterflies, and all sorts of other tiny critters."

With these words begins the Terrilla profile, capturing the essence of the owners of this TB. When it comes to butterfly breeding, we primarily focus on moths. So far, we've raised several species of hawkmoths and saturnia moths. The Death's-head hawkmoth (Acherontia atropos) was the first species we raised from small caterpillars to adult individuals. That's why the image of the Death's-head hawkmoth adorns our CWG (our profile picture) and why this our first TB bears its image and name. We were starting our GC journey at the time we had them at home, and we combined night walks for food for them with walks to find our first caches in our GC career.

"Tak trochu přírodovědci a hodně milovníci přírody;

chovatelé mravenců, motýlů a všalijaké další drobné havěti."

Právě těmito slovy začínají informace o profilu Terrilla a vystihují pěkně podstatu majitelů tohoto TB. Pokud jde o chov motýlů, jde primárně o noční motýli. Zatím jsme odchovali několik druhů lišajů a několik druhů martináčů. Lišaj smrtihlav (Acherontia atropos) byl prvním druhem, který jsme vychovali od malých housenek až po dospělé jedince. To je důvod, proč obrázek Lišaje smrtihlava zdobí náš CWG (viz profilová fotka) a proč i náš první TB nese jeho obrázek a jméno. Už jen to, že jsme zakládali svůj GC profil v době, kdy jsme je měli doma, a spojovali jsme noční procházky pro krmení s procházkami za prvními keškami, které jsme v naší GC karieře našli.
