Just a little note, I got word from the geo-terrorist youth that the old Tigger would not be found. Apparently one of the kids took him home to have as his own toy, and "lost" it. I am skeptical of the truth here, but suffice it to say that the old Tigger is gone.

Good news that westlog "cloned" the old Tigger, and he is much happier to be back on his way now!

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 12/18/2004 westlog grabbed it   Visit Log

We recovered Happy Tigger's remains from JHP who rescued Tigger's TB tag from geo-terrorist youths.

Happy Tigger was captured by geomuggle youth terrorists who snagged him from a cache that they trashed. Thankfully, that cache's owner took the trouble to check out Happy (well, more of a POW than happy) Tigger and was able to recover his travel bug tag. With Tigger's TB tag, we were able to clone Tigger and his information card and get him ready to bounce from geocache to geocache as he wanted to do. Hopefully, Happy Tigger will have better luck in the future and bring stories of his travels to all geocachers who wish to read his story.

Thanks to JHP for helping a fellow geocacher. We will set Happy Tigger out soon. Merry Christmas to all.

A little note of warning about this bug...it was in my cache "Close to Home", which was raided by some kids in my neighborhood. I confronted the miniature hooligans, and they claim that they still have Tigger, but it remains to be seen if I can get it back.

I'll send him on his way to another cache if I successfully recover him.

Sorry about that,
