Barney's goal is to see the capital of every state in the United States, and return to New Mexico so he can finally visit Santa Fe, the capital of his own state.

About This Item

Barney is a gray bear who has a great desire to travel this great country. He belonged to a nice boy, named Matthew who is now 10 yrs. old. Matthew will be tracking him, and learning some geography at the same time.

    TL;DR: We don't have the trackable (and feel sorry for you if it means it is still missing), but stumbled upon its discovery code.

    The story: I discovered this trackable/coin when I cracked the cache "Msportis Coinlihaus der 2." and then was able to reverse-engineer some Coins/TBs of the owner Msporti as well. By pure chance / luck while testing out possibilities for this I also came across this TB/coin. We hope that it's okay that we discover it, if not, feel free to delete this log. TFTC/TFTT 😉

    We had a chance to meet Barney Bear up close and personal. Had we been thinking we would have snapped a photo. But when do we ever remember to snap meaningful photos of our caching outings? Thanks for the fun and the chance to meet Barney.

    A little late logging the TB pickup. I was traveling on vacation w/o access to cheap computer time. Will take Barney along with some TB buddies to Juneau and log him into a cache in Alaska area and return him to the southwest for a visit home.

    • Alaska Capital Barney visited Juneau. Here is photo proof of local store.
    • Red Dog Saloon Juneau Barney needed a little "nip" at the famous Red Dog in Juneau before shopping. Couldn't find a cache in Juneau. Will try Skagway.
