2007 DarrylW4 & Firefly03 Pepper Memorial Silver Geocoin (Photo 4)

Photo 4For 2007 we're remembering our cat "Pepper" who we lost late in 2006. While these coins have one icon, the coins have been released on Antique Gold and Silver with four different photos in each metal.

The "Launched" series of geocoins is our personal geocoin which we (DarrylW4 and I) are sending into the wild. Our goal is to drop one into each cache we visit to see how many geocachers can log the coins as they move from cache-to-cache. We began the "Launched" series in early 2006 with the "2006 DarrylW4 & Firefly03 Geocoin" and continued with the "2006 DarrylW4 Mini Film Canister Coin" and "2006 Firefly 03 Mini Geocoin." We'll be dropping mostly the Antique Silver coins into caches with a few of the Gold coins reserved for the especially good caches and for our milestones.

    Well, I picked up this coin and was not able to see all the logs. It is headed back to Mobile with me from a Boy Scout camp out at Maubila w/ Troop 29 from Mobile. That is ok though, it hasn't been to Florida yet. I will send it in that direction. 😎

    I took this along on a visit to family in Washington County. I saw from the log that it had already visited a travel bug hotel near Mobile, so I chose to bring it north and discovered this hotel instead.

    Picked this up while passing through Talladega.

    Pepper looks an awful lot like our "Pandora" who we lost a few years ago.

    I see from the history that it has already visited some caches I considered dropping it in and has already been around Montgomery, so I will take it to South Alabama this weekend.

    Lazer handed me this coin Saturday, 10 May. Monday I passed it around at work and dropped it in my cache "Callin' The Cavlary" (GCTXBD) at the E-911 business office in Talladega, Alabama.
