About This Item

A-10 Flying Tiger TB.jpg

This A-10 Flying Tiger TB is a member of a very proud tradition, that of the American Volunteer Group (AVG) the Flying Tigers. This group of people volunteered to help the Chinese defend themselves against the Japanese BEFORE the US entered WWII. "Flying Tiger" aircraft can be easily recognized by the tiger teeth and eyes painted on the nose of the aircraft. For more information about these amazing folks, visit www.flyingtigersavg.com For information about the A-10, visit www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/a-10.htm and www.af.mil/photos/index.asp?galleryID=16
