Current Goal

Congrats on capturing the Brenadette Memorial Travel Bug. We were never shy when it came to running up the odometer in search of a minor adventure. In that spirit, we ask that you pack some CDs and a lunch, roll down the windows, and take and lengthy drive before dropping off this TB. Make us proud!

About This Item

"Bernadette" was Mike's zippy lil' 1990 Nissan 240SX, who met her unfortunate end in March 2003, dashed against the cruel chrome of an '87 Crown Victoria.
Had she only taken a different turn, she would be here now to take Alison and Mike of their mad, mad road trip across the US. This small memorial TB has been tasked with making the journey in her stead.



-FIRST MISSION COMPLETED (a little late)- Mike and Alison are moving to Seattle, WA. The Bernadette TB has a twenty-day head start to try and get there first. We expect to be there around October 9th. We'd love to meet up with it again on the left coast.

I picked this up to move to Shreveport area. It has been here over a month. I thought I was doing a good thing bringing it this far... Maybe it will start moving again!

My trip to Dallas has been delayed so I dropped her off in LSUFan's "Pit Stop" cache by the Interstate. It gets a lot of traffic and may get her moving on her journey sooner than I can. I also modified her slightly. I printed out the Travel Bug page and had it laminated with the goal hi-lited, then placed inside a ziplok bag. The bag is labled "I need to get to Seattle, WA very quickly. Please take me only if you can take me that direction." Maybe that will help her win the race to Seattle!
