I want to find my way back home in Smithsburg, Maryland! homereckerr has been on vacation in California with his aunt, she has found two geocaches with him and the family so far. This trackable is being left in Nipomo, California, where homereckerr's aunt lives. homereckerr wants to be reunited with his trackable in either Smithsburg, Maryland or somewhere else in that area. Made it to Rockville, Maryland which is as close as I plan to be to Smithsburg. I have dropped it off a trail in a small cache. It is about an hour away from its goal. You can leave it to see if someone will grab it and move it closer North to you or you can grab it yourself. It has been a pleasure to help it reach its destination. What has been your favorite stop together? Best of luck on your next journey!!

  • Made it to Rockville, Maryland which is as close as I plan to be to Smithsburg. I have dropped it off a trail in a small cache. It is about an hour away from its goal. Her most notable work, "Silent Spring" was an indepth look at the environmental effects of long-term pesticide misuse. Her work has been credited as the impetus behind the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency, and she has been called the "mother of the modern environmental movement."

This is the gravesite of Peter Mayhew in Reno, Texas. He played the lovable Chewy character in the Star Wars films. He unfortunately passed away in 2019. May the Force be with you!!!

Hello from Dallas, Texas!! Spotted that you are trying to get home to Maryland. Well this might be your lucky day. Even though I live in Arlington, Texas, I work in Washington DC. In fact, I have a planned trip back to the DMV next Friday. Since I will be staying in Rockville, Maryland, I will try to find a nice spot for you to hide. That should be about an hour or so away from your final destination of Smithsburg. That way if you want to grab it, you will have an opportunity!! See you soon!!
