Let's cast off and see the world! Anchors are acustomed to staying in one place holding everything attached to it in one spot. This one wants to get "Away", especially the more remote places that take some effort to get to. Take lots of pictures. Cache events are great too.
Warining: Archors "Away" is a LARGE travel bug, a 15 pound boat anchor. Do not let size and weight deter you from placing it at caches. It will not fit into most standard caches, so please take extra care to conceal him with bark, leaves or whatever next to your favorite cache.

A muggle grabbed this TB from the cache and dumped in an open area somewhere in PA. The TB is no longer there. Looks like this one is gone. If it does not surface in the next cople of months, I will send out a version 2.0. Thanks to everyone who helped this TB long its way.

On October 19, 2006 at 7:15 pm Anchors "Away" was dropped off in an area that is a stop to many a traveler. It is covered halfway by a flower bed. The location is somewhere on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Happy hunting!

Having just moved from Honey Pot Pennsylvania to New York, I was invited on a camping trip to the Adirondacks. I was told the view was well worth the hike, and was it ever! Little did I know how soon I would be returning to see the view from the rocks...I left my parka on the rocks and had to go back to pick it up. We were about half way down when I realized this. I was carrying this anchor so I was somewhat tired but I had been told that when found you are to move it to another place. I have not a clue as to how all of this works, but I was going to prove to my friend that a 52 year old woman COULD carry this all the way down AND wear a smile while doing so. I will be finding a place for it in 3 days...Keep smiling!

How exciting! This is our first travel bug, and it's quite a thing to lug around. Luckily, we were able to drive our van near the Troll's Hole, so we didn't have to attempt to carry it in our little backpack! I'll have to plan carefully in deciding where to drop this one off...
