Current Goal

This little skateboard, named for our geocaching grandson, would like to travel to all the cool parks around the U.S. that have the neatest skate parks for kids. Of course, it would be happy to see other destinations too.

Things look bad for Brian's Board. The "Racquetball Anyone" cache got muggled a week or so after the TB was deposited. It doesn't look as if anyone retrieved it befort that. Booo! Perhaps the muggle will do some research and find out how cool this stuff is. One can only hope.

Sorry I held on to this for so long, but I've finally placed it with a good view of the Alameda Skate Park. The cache was formerly known by the same name.

  • At Alameda Skate Park Baby Squirrel brings Brian's Board to Alameda Skate Park to watch the sites. At the same time on the other side of the fence they were filming an episode of Mythbusters--a very exciting day!

This is my first TB--and a very appropriate one! I'm a dedicated skate park/skateboard advocate and I preach that gospel to my students. (Design students who need to think about good recreational alternatives for teenagers). I will take it down to the Berkeley Skate Park just to let it see a decent park (no caches there, unfortunately) and then hopefully on to another place with a park soon. I hear the Benicia skate park has a cache nearby, although that one is supposed to be kinda lame--it's very old and not very challenging.

We will give Brian's Skateboard a ride to an area where it should have no problem finding others that enjoy this sport.

Forgot to log this (found in Aug). It was in the deep recesses of my backpack. Grabbed it from Stickman Judgment Day and will move along shortly.
