The Hitman has disappeared and has been replaced by The Hitman 2
The Hitman's goal, before being bug-napped, is shown below and the honor of winning the match has been taken up by his twin. Should The Hitman miraculously reappear he may yet get a chance to win the game and step back in for The Hitman 2.
I started in Seattle, Washington, USA and I am trying to get to Calgary, Alberta, Canada!
The Hitman is competing against Cool
Bird (who started in Calgary and is trying to get to Seattle) to see who can get back to their home city while scoring the most goals along the way.
Every cache this travel bug visits counts as a goal. Taking The Hitman on a caching trip where he goes in an out of several caches (as long as they each have their own geocaching waypoint) before finally settling down somewhere is okay and is, in fact, welcome. If one travel bug arrives home before the other it can move around its home city continuing to score goals until the other arrives home.
Once both travel bugs are in their home city the game is over and the score is tallied.
Go Hitman!
The Hitman is named after (and is the logo for) the Calgary Hitmen, an amateur team in the Western
Hockey League (WHL).
Cool Bird, the Hitman's opponent, is named after the mascot for the Seattle Thunderbirds, another team in the same league.

After an unbelievable scoring tear by The Hitman 2 (54 unanswered goals) the score is:
The Hitman: 121
Cool Bird: 42
Our not so esteemed auditors, Arthur Anderson, have confirmed the score to be accurate, give or take a few billion.
Hitman, where are you?

The Hitman 2 has done a masterful job replacing The Hitman.
The accounting firm Arthur Anderson (of Enron fame) has tallied the score (and a few other statistics) for our fans viewing pleasure:
Score:
The Hitman: 67
Cool Bird: 41
Shots on Goal:
The Hitman: 67
Cool Bird: 41
Goals Against Average:
The Hitman: 41
Cool Bird: 67
Save Percentage:
The Hitman: 0.000
Cool Bird: 0.000
No kick backs were given in the tallying of the score (well, no big ones, that you would go to jail for).

The Hitman has gone missing. Someone took him from JETZ and that's the last we've seen or heard from him 😡.
But all is not lost. Fortunately "The Hitman 2" is ready to go and has taken over from "The Hitman". He is currently in Stack 'em Up (GCNDNB). As of this date the score is 39 - 36 for The Hitman (1 & 2) over Cool Bird.
GAME ON!! GO HITMAN 2!!

Well hockey fans, we hope this is just a long intermission and not another hockey strike (sorry ... lockout). The Hitman left JETZ on February 24 according to the log book in the cache. But where is he? Is he still in Calgary? Kelowna? Europe, playing in the Swedish Elite league? On strike? Nobody's talking. Hmmm ...
Meanwhile, in Seattle, Coobird has seemingly vanished into thin air. A long intermission between periods maybe? A little tired after scoring 34 goals? Beat up and sore from 39 goals against at the hands of The Hitman? Resting his weary bones, no doubt, waiting for The Hitman to reappear. But he knows that if The Hitman miraculously reappears in Calgary he's in deep trouble and almost assured to lose 39-34. Maybe he's headed back onto the road to score some more goals? On strike, too? Hmmm ...
Are the two sides going to get back to hockey? Can they find common ground? Can they find a cache? Or is this match going the way of the dodo bird, just like their NHL cousins. Only time will tell.
Stay tuned...
