MISSION: Since this missed it's original mission I'm updating to have it's picture taken with the USS Lapon's sail at American Legion Post 639. There's a plack with it's Lat. and Long. on it. I would also like a picture of my brick. Just look for the STS2/ss Whelley serving from 86 to 90.
I served on the USS Lapon between 86 and 90. I will not be able to make it to the dedication of the sail in Sprigfied, Mo. so I'm sending my Submarine qualifaction pin in my place.
Please help.
