Travel west around the world!
Ourside youth centre, in Evesham UK, would love to see how far Shark Dude can get around the world! By always travelling west, we hope that he’ll eventually go all the way around the world and come back to us. It’s always good to dream big, so please help us with this mission if you can!
Starting point: Shark Dude is setting out from a special place called New Farm Nature Reserve. There in 2022, we excavated an Iron Age settlement and Roman farmstead. Through Ourside, a group of local young people helped us investigate the site, share this amazing history with visitors and set up a geocache series. From these caches they have sent out two travel bugs with very different missions: Shark Dude (travelling all the way west) and Pottacus (travelling east to Rome and named after a real Roman potter). Who will succeed first?
