Was kindly escorted here by the Kereru & Fantails. They followed me all the way in fact one hitched a ride on my back for a bit. What friendly birdlife. Was a bit of a hike up there. Wonderful views!! Did a really stupid thing and thought I'd follow a rather 'dull' track back... needless to say the track ran out so I had to make my own luckily not too far. On my little adventure I came across some really grand old trees. My prize was a few Kereru tail feathers which I found on the ground. Glee!.
