Picked up this morning, indeed this used to be Mosley Common colliery, built in 1862. It was modernised in 1962 costing £7.5 million, a "superpit" with 3000 employees but closed in 1968 due to impossible targets.

Dropped it in one of "Mine" as promised ;-) Puns aside though, this cache is located in Mosley Common, once a thriving mining community. In fact, I believe this cache is situated on the side of an old stabilised slag heap. Travel well mr miner!
