Current Goal

This MTB (Motorcycle Travel Bug) wants to discover the world on motorcycle, especially europe, by learning about all nice and beautiful roads in your vicinity that are worth touring. Please leave a log on the Bug's page on www.geocaching.com stating the starting coordinate and the end coordinate (WGS84)of the road and the reason why it's worth a visit. Some examples are on the www.geocaching.com site in the description of the travel bug's page.
You don't have to be a motorcyclist yourself. You could ask people in your surrounding that are motorcyclists. You don't have to visit these spots either. Just look up the coordinates with your GPS. However if you would like to upload a picture, that would be greatly appreciated.

About This Item

The travelbug is a light alloy-ish plastic type of three spoke rim together with a Bridgestone Battlax-ish type of tire of questionable grip. For the owner it would be best if the Bug stayed in Europe. Some examples of exquisit roads:

Trollstigen (Norway) Hairpin road with nice view. Don't go there if you are scared of heights. If you also like walking you could try klovestien.

Zillertaler Hoehenstrasse (Austria) long tollroad with very nice views. On your way to the top visit the Hirschbichlalm.

long 30 km/h twisty narrow road with pittoresk farmhouses from Bodegraven to Woerdense Verlaat.

Cool to see the current exotic location of the TB in its tenth anniversary year. As the owner I am still following the whereabouts and enjoying the postings of fellow geocachers. Looking forward to seeing all new log entries in the forthcoming period.
