This fire truck wants to visit your local fire station and get a picture taken. Wouldn't it be great if it traveled to all 50 states......or gee, how about around the world?!

I had a computer-compatability issue and couldn't post the picture from Amsterdam- Feb 16. As mentioned earlier, visited FS 'Nico' on Valkenburgerstraat. Note the name of the FS written above the cab on the black visor along with a triple cross- symbol of Amsterdam. Also, note the friendly, interested fireman, FS mascot (yellow stuffed toy) and the fact that the fire truck is a Mercedes.

Placed TB in Off The Beat'n Yat in Simonds Yat, Forest of Dean. Since it was retrieved from Wilson Mill Cache in Lexington, MA, it has visited:
Fire Station 'Nico' on Valkenburgerstraat in Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Watford Fire Station, UK
Devon Fire And Rescue in Exmouth, UK
South Wales Fire Station In Monmouth, UK

  • Monmouth Fire Station A picture of the door of the South Wales fire station. Could not get a picture of the sign describing the facility. Notice the Welsh language on the recruiting poster on the door.
  • South Devon Regional Fire Station A picture of the sign outside the South Devon Regional Fire Station.
  • Watford Fire Station The travel bug in front of the brand new fire truck. Note the helpful, friendly fireman in the picture. He drove it out specially in front of the practice tower.

Found TB at Wilson Mill Cache and brought it to Lexington to visit our local fire station. This is our 2nd attempt to log - our entry didn't make it into the TB history before.

My sister and I placed Fire Truck TB today in Wilson Mill. Got this TB out in Illinois. It took American Airlines to Boston on Dec. 29 and is now hanging out in Mass. Took a few pictures at my local fire station (Woburn, MA)that I will be posting.
