Current Goal

I Want To Go Home. I was recently stolen from my homeland and I want to go back to the USA. Specifically to the MCRT Work Cache (GCY679) in Seattle, WA. Help me get there. I am also racing the other coins in this series to hit 24,901 miles (40075 km).

Thanks to toxsin for bringing it back to American shores. Now we need to get it the rest of the way to Seattle.

About This Item

USA #2.jpg

This is the forty-first of a series of I Want To Go Home travel bugs. Each will have a coin from attached of the country that it wants to return to. Unlike the others in this group, this coin is from my homeland of the USA and my state of Washington. I will be dropping it in the Netherlands when I visit in mid-May. The sixth batch of eight is USA #2 - Netherlands, Ireland, Romania, Honduras, USA #3 - France, USA #4 - Kenya, Guam and Hungary. Eventually I want to have tags out for all countries (50+) that I have been to.

OK - this time I really dropped it off and it wasn't due to a glitch in GC.com! I left it in a really cool cache I found this afternoon that was one of several caches stashed for a local get together in August '09 that became a permanent one. It has an awesome view of Lake Michigan until the next person comes along to continue it on its mission.

The TB never got dropped in Mariner's trail - I still have it. I've been having a TON of trouble with GC.com over the past week or so and after trying like 5 times to post the log it must have just up and decided to put it in there all on it's own. I haven't been to an appropriate place to drop it yet, but I will soon - possibly tomorrow when I go out.

Picked it up in Newberry and taking it to NE Wisconsin where I will find a new home for it within the next week or so so it can continue it's mission back to Seattle!
